of capias ad s at is faciendum hath been issued and served by
a sheriff, or other officer, immediately upon the service of such
injunction on such sheriff, or other officer, he shall discharge
the defendant, and certify the same to the court from which
such execution issued; and the service of such injunction shall
release such sheriff, or other officer, from all farther responsi-
bility; and upon the dissolution of the injunction, the plaintiff
in ay sue out an execution of fieri facias, or capias ad satis-
faciendum, on the judgment at law, as if no execution had

before issued.

CHAP. CLVIII.
An Act relating to the Commissioners of the Tax of Worcester County.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the present year, the meeting of the com-
missioners of the tax of Worcester county shall be held on such
day or days, between the first Monday of January, and the
first Monday of August, in each and every year, as the said
commissioners, or a majority of them, shall appoint, and the
said commissioners shall give public notice of the times of such
meetings.

2. And be it enacted, That all that part of the forty-third s
section of the act of assembly, entitled, An act for the valua-
tion of the real and personal property in this state, passed at
November session eighteen hundred and twelve, which is in-
consistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

CHAP. CLIX.
A Further Supplement to an Act, entitled, An act for enlarging the power of
the High Court of Chancery.

Passed Feb., 21 1827

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That in all cases where there are two or more defendants, and it
may be proper to decree that such defendants shall convey the
lands or property in controversy, the chancellor, and the county
courts having equity jurisdiction, may either decree that the said
defendants shall make and execute such conveyance, or that a
person, to be appointed by the chancellor or the said county
courts, as trustee for that purpose, shall make and execute

such conveyance; Provided, that if the said defendants or trus-
tee shall neglect or fail to make such conveyance, the said decree
shall, to all intents and purposes, be deemed and taken as a con-
veyance of the legal title and estate, in like manner as if such
conveyance had been made as decreed.

CHAP. CLX.
An Act for the relief of Elizabeth Gibson of Harford County.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the marriage con-
tract between Elizabeth Gibson and William Gibson, is hereby
declared to be annulled and destroyed, and the said Elizabeth
Gibson is hereby declared to be divorced from her husband,
William Gibson, as entirely, and to as full extent, as if the said
