CHAP. 13.

2. And be it enacted, That the said George Will shall not;
by virtue of his marriage with the said Catherine Will, be au-
thorised to have or claim any right or interest in the estate, real,
personal or mixed, of the said Catherine Will, to be by her ac-
quired after the passage of this act: nor shall Catherine Will be
authorised to have or claim any right or interest in the estate,
real, personal or mixed of the said George Will, to be by him
acquired after the passage of this act.

3. And be it enacted, That the skid Catherine Will shall
have and exercise all the rights, privileges and immunities, and
be subject to all the legal responsibilities of a feme sole, in the
same manner she would have been, if she had never been mar-
ried.

4. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Catherine Will be
and she is hereby declared to be, entitled to the custody and
guardianship of her children by her present marriage, during
their minority.

5. And be it enacted, That the said George Will shall not
be liable for any debt to be hereafter contracted by the said Ca-
therine Will.

CHAP. XIV.
A Supplement to an act, entitled, An act for the revaluation of the Real and
Personal Property in Allegany County, passed at December Session eigh-
teen hundred and twenty -four.

Preamble

WHEREAS by the fourth section of the act to which this is a
supplement, certain lots and parts of lots of land is made liable
to taxation, and doubts having arisen with the commissioners of
the tax of said county, of the said act being explicit enough to
be clearly understood; Therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall be the duty of the commissioners of the tax of
Allegany county, to order the collection of the tax on said pro-
perty, in the same manner and under the same restrictions as
the other real property ity said county is liable to.

CHAP. XV.
An Act to repeal an act relating to the Public Roads in Talbot County,
passed at December Session eighteen hundred and twenty-five.

Act repealed

Be it enacted by the General Assembly, of Maryland,
That an act entitled, An act relating to the public roads in Tal-
bot county, passed at December session eighteen hundred and
twenty-five, chapter one hundred and ninety-six, be and the
same hereby is repealed, abrogated and annulled.

CHAP. XVI.
An Act to confirm the Proceedings of the Levy Court of Somerset County,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the proceedings of the levy court of Somerset county, so
far as they relate to the allowance of ten per centum commissi-
on, for the collection of the public levy in the year eighteen-
hundred and twenty-six, be and the same are hereby confirmed
and made valid, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
