Article 70B - Office on Aging

(c) The Interagency Committee on Aging Services, through the Office on Aging,
shall work with local health departments, departments of social services, area agencies
on aging, and local housing, transportation, and economic and employment
development officials to:

(1) Develop a system for the designation of case managers to secure and
manage the necessary services for each frail or health impaired elderly person in need;

(e) (2) The Director of the Office on Aging shall adopt regulations to
establish conflict of interest provisions within the Long-Term CARE Ombudsman

(c) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, on retirement a
member shall receive:

(i) A service retirement allowance that shall be computed as [a] 1
percent of the part of the member's average final compensation that is not in excess of
the social security integration level, plus 1. 5 percent of the part of that compensation
that is in excess of the social security integration level, multiplied by the number of
years of the member's creditable service; or
