WICOMICO COUNTY

WHEREAS, the Wicomico County Council deems it advisable to amend the
aforesaid Chapter of the Wicomico County Code and certain Sections thereof in order
to establish more comprehensive standards of building construction in Wicomico
County, and to better provide for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of
Wicomico County:

Bill 5 - 1989

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code, titled "ZONING"
by amending Section 225-5 thereof, titled "Usage" Subsection A thereof, titled "Uses
permitted inherently" and Subsection B thereof, titled "Uses permitted by special
exception":

WHEREAS, the County Council for Wicomico County has received certain
recommendations regarding uses allowed inherently and by special exception in
Agricultural-Rural Residential Districts, and after having given serious and extensive
consideration to the matter, the said County Council now deems it advisable to amend
the aforesaid Sections of the Zoning Chapter of the Wicomico County Code as follows;

Bill 6 - 1989

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code, titled "ZONING"
Section 106, titled "Special exceptions" by repealing and reenacting said Section 106;

WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Wicomico County Planning and
Zoning Commission, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid Section 106 of
Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code to clarify the guidelines for reviewing and
approving applications for special exceptions;

Bill 10 - 1989

AN ACT to amend Chapter 117 of the Wicomico County Code, titled "Building
Construction" by including in said Chapter Section 1703.3.5, in numerical sequence,
titled "Crawl Space Construction," with certain amendments to the contents thereof;

WHEREAS, the Wicomico County Council deems it advisable, upon
recommendation of the Department of Public Works, to amend the aforesaid Chaptei
of the Wicomico County Code by amending the aforesaid Section 1703.3.5 in order te
establish a more acceptable standard for building construction in Wicomico County
