Bill 11 - 1989

AN ACT to amend Chapter 221 of the Wicomico County Code, titled
"VEHICLES, USE OF" by amending the title thereto to be "USE OF NATURE
TRAILS, FOOTPATHS, BRIDLE PATHS OR HORSE TRAILS AND BICYCLE
TRAILS", and making certain amendments to the contents thereof by adding
additional sections providing for bridle paths, horse trails and bicycle trails;

WHEREAS, the Wicomico County Council deems it advisable to amend the
aforesaid Chapter of the Wicomico County Code to add certain sections thereto in
order to establish better use of nature trails, footpaths, bridle paths or horse trails and
bicycle trails for the use and recreation for the citizens of Wicomico County;

AN ACT to amend Chapter 200 of the Wicomico County Code, titled "Subdivision
of Land" by amending Section 10 thereof, by adding Subsections "C" and "D"
pertaining to the submission and recording of plats;

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid Section of the Wicomico
County Code to provide for a more systematic and realistic approach to the submission
and recording of plats for subdivisions in Wicomico County; and

WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland, hereby find that
an emergency measure amending the subdivision regulations of Wicomico County,
Maryland, is required in order to better provide for the health, safety and welfare of the
| citizens of Wicomico County;
