COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
amendments, Sections 4.28d and 4.28q of Section IV, Requirements for the Subdivision
or Development of Land, of the Subdivision Regulations for Harford County, as
amended; to require that a builder post a house number, pay for a street name sign, and
furnish Q water main shut off valve map to the county number before receiving a
certificate of use and occupancy for a new residential structure; to require a developer
to furnish the county with a water main shut-off valve map upon completion of a
development's water system; to require that a developer pay the county for street name
signs for a development before beginning street construction erect temporary street
name signs for a development before the county issues a building permit for any lot
included in the public works agreement for the development; to alter the requirements
relating to the posting of house numbers; and generally relating to identification of
streets, houses, and water main shut-off valves.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Sections 9-53 through 9-59, of Article IX,
heading, Commission on Aging, and Sections 9-87 through 9-96, of Article XIV,
heading, Area Agency on Aging, of Part 2, heading, Nonbinding Advisory Boards, of
Chapter 9, heading, Boards, Commissions, Councils and Agencies, of the Harford
County Code, as amended; to provide for the establishment of a new Harford County
Advisory Board on Aging to take over the functions of the Commission on Aging and
Area Agency on Aging Advisory Councils; to provide that the Advisory Board on Aging
be advisory to the Office on Aging in the Department of Community Services; to
provide for membership terms, powers, duties, functions, and objectives of the advisory
board; to provide for an advisory board which shall develop and administer the area
plan for a comprehensive and coordinated system of services for the older persons in
Harford County, Maryland, and generally relating to the establishment of an Advisory
Board on Aging in Harford County, Maryland.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to repeal, in its entirety and re-enact with amendments,
Chapter 131 heading, Flood Damage Prevention of the Harford County Code, as
amended; and to generally provide for a Flood Damage Prevention program consistent
with Federal and State laws.
Effective Date May 17, 1989.
