Human Relations Commission

For the purpose of changing the method of appointment, duties and size of the
Commission and generally relating to the work of the Commission and providing certain
penalties.

Sections 15-1, 15-2, 15-3, 15-4 and 15-5

Baltimore County Code, 1978, 1987 Cumulative Supplement, as amended.

BY adding

Section 15-1 to 15-16

AN ACT concerning

Title. "General Provisions"

For the purpose of repealing sections requiring criminal costs in magistrates
courts, advertising by the circuit court in county newspapers, contracting for printing
and publishing of county matters, including the Public Local Laws as adopted by the
General Assembly; of repealing and reenacting sections designating year of the County
Code, amending the definitions and rules of construction as to "computation of time",
the definition of "county", the definition of "newspaper", the definition of "person",
provisions for the continuation of existing ordinances, amending the general penalty
provision, and amending the open meetings section; and adding new sections for the
validity of pre-existing transactions, and providing for a standard appeal period to the
Board of Appeals.
