On motion of Mr. Scott,

The order was laid upon the table.

Mr. Gordon chairman of the committee on the Judiciary
reported favorably upon the bill entitled, an act to ratify .the
proceedings of the Circuit Court for Allegany county, as a
Court of Equity, appointing Wm. Walsh, trustee, to com-
plete the collection of State and county taxes for the years
1860 and 1861, and perform the other duties of collector in
place of John Collan, late collector, deceased;

Which was read the first, and by special order the second
and third times, and passed by yeas and nays, as follow:

Mr. Maxwell offered the following:

Ordered, That the committee on claims be directed to pay
Mrs. Schleigh 25 cents per day for ice furnished for the use
of the House;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Maxwell, from a special committee reported favorably
upon the bill entitled, an act to repeal section 84 of article 8
of the Code of Public Local Laws, for Cecil county;

Which was read the first, and by special order the second
and third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
