On motion of Mr. Goldsborough,

The vote by which the bill was rejected was reconsidered.
The Secretary of the Senate returned the following;

A bill entitled, a supplement to an act to incorporate the
Baltimore, Catonsville and Ellicott's Mills Passenger Rail-
way Company passed at January session 1860, chapter 34,

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays,"
With proposed amendment.
Amendment proposed:

In section 1, line 5, after the word "feet" insert "and not
exceeding in length, parallel with the line of said road one
hundred yards, at and from Guynn's fells on said road."

On motion, of Mr, Miller,
The rules were suspended, and

Leave was granted to the committee on Ways and Means
to bring in a bill to repeal sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,15 and
16 of article 84 of the Code of General Public Laws.

Mr, Miller from a select committee reported favorably up-
on a bill entitled, an act to provide for the payment of a sum
of money; to Capt, Gabriel Beckley, of the United Guards of
Frederick County, for services rendered under the orders of
the Governor;

Which was read the first and by special order the second
time.

On motion of Mr. Chaplain,
At one o'clock the House adjourned,
