Local Laws, relating to the boundaries of Princess Anne in
Somerset County.

Mr. Holland submitted the following:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

August 1, 1861.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

You are hereby respectfully requested to return to this
House, House bill No. 3, now on file in the Senate, provi-
ding for an additional constable in Cambridge election dis-
trict, in Dorchester County.

Chief Clerk.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
On motion of Mr. Mackubin,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County delegation
to bring in a bill, to authorize the keeper of the chancery re-
cords to have certain record books bound.

Mr. Briscoe offered the following:

Ordered, that it be entered on the journal that Richard
Wootton, Esq., of Prince George's County is detained from
his seat in this House by sickness;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Gordon proposed the following:

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Librarian be and his hereby authorized and directed, to pre-
pare a new catalogue of the books, public documents and
other property of the State, now in the library, under the di-
rection of the committee herein after mentioned, and to as-
certain as far as possible what steps are necessary to secure
their restoration, the number of books, public documents and
other property of the State that has been lost out of the li-
brary, and by whom lost, and what book and public docu-
ments are now necessary to supply broken sets of reports,
and other books and public documents.

Resolved, That such catalogue when so made shall be con-
clusive evidence against said Librarian of the possession of all
