The petition of 38 citizens of Baltimore city requesting the
Legislature to adjourn sine die;

Which was read and referred to the joint select committee
on adjournment.

Mr. Jones, of Talbot, offered the following :

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that Mr.
Straughn is detained from the deliberations of this House by

sickness;

Which was adopted:

Mr. Jacobs offered the following:

Ordered, That when this House adjourns, the position of
Esma Lowe, folder, and George W. Howard, assistant folder,
be vacated, and Thomas Mason be reinstated in his regular
position as folder to this House;
