Pending the consideration of which

On motion of Mr. filler,
At 1| o'clock the House adjourned.

THURSDAY, June 20, 1861.

The House met, and Avas opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Jones.

Present at the call of the roll the following members:

Messrs. Kilbourn, Speaker, Durant, Morgan, Rasin, Med-
ders, Welch, Mackubin, Briscoe, Burgess, Ford, Denison,
Quinlan, Renshaw, Jones, of Talbot, Chaplain, Dennis, of
Somerset, Keene, Holland, Molntire, Maxwell, Miller, Bryan,
Wootton, Jones, of P. G., Legg, Jacobs, Landing, Kessler,
Claggett, Routzahn, Johnson, Salmon, Naill, Goldsborough,
Warfield, Brune, Pitts, Harrison, Thomas, Wallis, Sangs-
ton, Morfit, Scott, Wilson, McCoy, Coudy, Brining, Fiery,
Stake, Griffith, Gordon, Barnard, McCleary, Roop, Gor-

such, Mills, Turner.

The proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Scott presented the petition of Rebecca T. Neill, widow,
of Baltimore city, to be refunded a sum of money heretofore
paid by her into the Treasury;

Which was read.

Mr. Mackubin moved to refer it to the next General As-
sembly.

Mr. Scott moved as a substitute to refer it to the commit-
tee on Ways and Means;

Which was concurred in, and the petition so referred,
Mr. Fiery presented
