Gentlemen of the Home of Delegates:

The Senate having again assembled, are anxious to pro-
ceed with the business of the extra session.

We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of your
honorable body, to appoint a joint committee to wait upon
his Excellency the Governor, and inform him that the Gene-
ral Assembly is again assembled in their respective chambers,
and are ready to receive any communication he may be
pleased to make, and we appoint Messrs. Kimmel and Frank-
lin as the said committee on the part of the Senate.

Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message proposing the appointment
of a joint special committee to wait upon his Excellency the
Governor and inform him that the General Assembly has
again assembled, and are ready to receive any communica-
tion he may be pleased to make, and respectfully concur
therein.
