Mr. Goldsborough, acting chairman of the committe on
Ways and Means, made a favorable report upon the bill en-
titled, an act making appropriations for the payment of the
expenses of the Extra Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland for the year 1861;

Which was read the first, and by special order the second
and third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follow:
