A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 4th Article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, by adding thereto the following sections,
authorizing the Mayor and Ctiy Council of Baltimore to increase
the pnblic debt of said city, and repealing section 871 of said
Article,

Was taken up, read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays
as follows:

On motion of Mr. Townsend,

The order which was laid on the table on the 20th instant, in
relation to the appointment of three Senators to take into consid-
eration the attendance of Senators,

Was taken up and adopted.

The President appointed Messrs. McKaig, Whitaker and Gra-
hame as said committee.
