Which was read and concurred in.
The Resolutions were then taken up:

Read the second time, and by special order the third time, and
rejected.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the resolution
from the Committee on Federal Relations of the House.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Federal
Relations.

On motion of Mr. Franklin,

Ordered, That the Sergeant-at-Arms be required to remain in
the city of Frederick during the recess of the Legislature, to take
care of the desks of Senators, and to deliver up to the Indepen-
dent Order of Red Men the possession of the room for their use
during the said recess, and that he shall receive such compensa-
tion for his services as by the Senate may be deemed reasonable
and right.

On motion of Mr. Brooke,

A bill, entitled, An act to amend article twenty-eight, of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to the rights and duties
of County Commissioners, by adding the following sections
———— thereto,

Was taken up.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following
bill, entitled,

An act appropriating money for the payment of the claims of
John H. Keller, John H. Stiener, and Lewis H. Bennett, Trustees
of Chippawa, No. 19, Improved Order of Red Men, and Dr.
Daniel Zacharias, President of the Council of the Evangelical
Reformed Church.

Which was read the first time.

On motion of Mr. Yellott,
Three-fourths of all the Senators concurring.

Said bill was read the second time, and by special order, the
third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows:
