and town taxation, and shall not be disposed
of until bids thereof have been duly adver-
tised.

SEC. 43. And be it enacted, That in order to
provide money for the punctual payment of
the interest on said bonds or certificates, and
to create a sinking fund to pay the principal
thereof at maturity, the wharf charges author-
ized to be collected under this act, and such

sum or sums as may be annually levied by the
County Commissioners of Somerset county, to
reimburse said Town Commissioners of said
town for the expense of keeping up and re-
pairing the county roads within the limits of
said town, are hereby pledged and set apart to
be used by said Town Commissioners in pay-
ing the interest regularly, and the balance to
be invested for the purpose of creating a sink-
ing fund to retire said bonds at maturity.

SEC. 44. That the limits of said town shall
be defined as beginning at a post on Long
Point, on Little Annamessex river, thence run-
ning eastward across said river to a post on
what is known as Hammock Point; thence by
a straight line touching the southeast corner
of Henry F. Jewell's house, where he now re-
sides, to the new county road running from the
High School to Asbury Church; thence from
said point on said county road by a straight
line to a point on the east side of the Eastern
Shore Railroad, and the north side of the new

road and county road intersect each other, and
from said intersection by straight line to the
most westerly point of land or marsh pro-
jecting into the Little Annamessex river, on
the west side thereof, near David Marsh's

said town, set up on Long Point; and thence
to the beginning; provided, that the consent
