and balance in hand; also, how much has been
collected by each collector, and how much is
due from each of said collectors; the said
notice to be published three times.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 61.

AN ACT to refund to Dr. William H. Gale a
sum of money erroneously paid into the
Treasury of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Treasurer be

and he is hereby directed, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller therefor, which he is au-
thorized to draw, to pay Dr. William H. Gale,
of Somerset county, the sum of fifty dollars,
erroneously paid by him into the Treasury of
the State as tax on his commissions as Regis-
ter of Wills, at a time when he entered upon
said office under appointment of the Orphans'
Court of said county, to fill an unexpired term.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
