district number seven, of said county; and
provided further, that where there are two or
more joint defendants residing in different
districts of said county, it shall be lawful to
institute such proceeding's in any district in
which either one of said defendants resides
or in said election district number seven, as
the plaintiff may elect; and provided further,
that if a Justice of the Peace in any election
district in said county shall himself be the
plaintiff or defendant to any cause of action
arising in said district and there shall be no
other Justice of the Peace in said district,
then it shall be lawful for suit to be instituted
upon said cause of action in said election dis-
trict number seven.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 60.
AN ACT to amend chapter one hundred and
forty-three of the acts of eighteen hundred
and eighty-four, entitled "an act to provide
for the speedy and prompt collection of taxes
in Wicomico county," by adding an addi-
tional section thereto, to be known as section
fifteen A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That chapter one hun-

is hereby amended, by adding thereto an addi-
