CHAPTER 503.

AN ACT to repeal section fifteen, of the act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at its January session, eighteen hundred and
seventy-eight, entitled an act to repeal sec-
tion fifteen of the act of the General Assem-
bly, passed at its session of eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-two, chapter one hundred
and fifty-three, entitled an act to provide
for inspection of steam boilers in the city
of Baltimore, and tore-enact the same with
amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That section fifteen of
the acts of the General Assembly, passed at
its January session, eighteen hundred and
seventy-eight, chapter one hundred and thirty,
entitled an act to repeal section fifteen of the

act of the General Assembly, passed at its ses-
sion of eighteen hundred and seventy-two,
chapter one hundred and fifty-three, entitled
"An act to provide for the inspection of steam
boilers in the city of Baltimore," be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as
to read as follows :

SECTION 15. And be it further enacted, That
every steam boiler insurance company doing
business in this State, shall have a resident in-
spector, whose duty it shall be to make in-
spections of steam boilers submitted for insur-
ance to such steam boiler insurance company,
and that any owner or venter of a steam boiler

this State, incompliance with the laws thereof,
and having a resident inspector and an estab-
lished system of inspection, must immediately
after the first annual inspection in each year
by such resident inspector of such steam
