LAWS OF MARYLAND.
Inspector of the district in which the said
steam boilers are located, the certificate of
inspection of the said company, and the said
company shall be charged and chargeable with
a fee of one dollar for each and every boiler
so inspected and insured, which shall be paid

Proviso-
|
to the State Inspector with such certificate ;
provided, that when there is more than one
steam boiler belonging to the same owner or
venter so insured, then the fee so chargeable
to the insurance company shall be one dollar
per boiler for the first five, and one dollar for
each additional five or fraction thereof over
and above the first five, and that upon the
acceptance of the provisions of this section
by the owner or venter of said steam boiler or
steam boilers, the said owner or venter shall
be exempted from the requirements of this
act.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And this act shall go into force im-
mediately upon its passage.

CHAPTER 504.
AN ACT to repeal section sixty-four of article
seventy-five of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to "Pleadings, Practice and
Process," as amended by chapter two hun-
dred and eighty-three of the acts of the
January session, eighteen hundred and six-
ty-four, and as repealed and re-enacted and
amended by chapter one hundred and forty-
one of the acts of the January session, eigh-
teen hundred and seventy-eight and to re-
enact said section amended.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That section sixty-four
