AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments section forty-three of article sixty-
one of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled " Mechanics' Lien," as repealed and
re-enacted by chapter ninety- two of the acts
of eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled
an act to repeal section forty-three, article
sixty-one of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Mechanics' Lien," and re-enact
the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That section forty-three
of article sixty-one of the Code of Public

General Laws, as repealed and re-enacted by
chapter ninety-two of the act of eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, entitled an act to repeal sec-
tion forty-three, article sixty-one, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Mechanics'
Lien," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted so as to read as follows :

re-enacted.

SEC. 43. The provisions of the preceding sec-
tions of this article shall not apply to Kent,
Charles or St. Mary's counties.
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
