SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 50.
AN ACT to empower the Deputy of the Reg-
ister of Wills of Harford county to admin-
ister oaths.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

Register of Wills of Harford county is hereby
empowered to administer all oaths that the
Register of Wills of Harford county is by law
empowered to administer.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 51.

AN ACT to relieve the disabilities of Francis
M. Cox, Charles F. Daley, William F. Dement,
Adrian Posey and P. Reed Wills, residents-
of Charles county.
SECTION \. Be it enacted by the General As-

sembly qf Maryland, That Francis M. Cox,
Charles F. Daley, William F. Dement, Adrian
Posey and P. Reed Wills, residents of Charles
county, shall be, and they are hereby relieved
and discharged from all and any disabilities
that may have been incurred by them, or any
of them, for, or on account of the sending or
acceptance of any challenge to fight a duel, or
knowingly aiding or assisting therein.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
