hereby authorized and directed to levy at the
time for making the annual levy for the year
eighteen hundred and eighty-six, the sum of
five hundred dollars, to erect a Public School
House in the town of McHenry, in said Gar-
rett county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the. said sum
of five hundred dollars shall be collected and
paid to the Treasurer of the Board of County
School Commissioners of Garrett county, in

the same manner as the other amounts for
school purposes are collected and paid, and
the said Board of County School Commis-
sioners shall apply the said sum to the erec-
tion of said school house, and for no other
purpose.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

General Laws, entitled "Pleading, Practice

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the following be
and the same is hereby added, as an additional
section to be numbered one hundred and six-
teen, to article seventy-five of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Pleading, Pro-
cess and Practice."
116. Any party to a cause or action at Law
or in Equity, shall be at liberty to apply, to
the Court or a Judge thereof for a rule or
