CHAPTER 413.

AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for
the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors
or lager beer in_; at or near the village of
Liberty town, in Worcester county.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That hereafter it shall
not be lawful for the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Worcester county, to issue license to any

person or persons to sell spirituous or fer-
mented liquors or lager beer within the vil-
lage of Libertytown, Worcester county, or at
any place in said county within two and one-
half miles distance from the Presbyterian
Church located in said village.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect on and after the first day of May
in the year eighteen hundred and eighty-six.

CHAPTER 414.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County
Commissioners of Garrett county to levy
the sum of five hundred dollars to build a
School House in the town of McHenry, in
said county.
