SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 387.
AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of the
town of Bishopville, in Worcester county, as
bounded by an act entitled an act to incor-
porate the town of Bishopville, Worcester
county, passed at January session eighteen
hundred and eighty-four, chapter seventy,
to determine by ballot whether spirituous,
fermented or intoxicating liquors or alco-
holic bitters shall be sold in said town or not.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the question whether
or not any person or persons, or any house, cor-
poration, company or association shall bo al-

lowed at any time to sell by himself, herself
or itself, his, her or its clerk, servant or agent,
directly or indirectly, . any spirituous, fer-
mented or intoxicating liquors of any descrip-
tion whatever, or alcoholic bitters at any time
within the limits of the town of Bishopville,
in Worcester county, as bounded by an act en-
titled an act to incorporate the town of Bishop-
ville, Worcester county, passed at January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, chap-
ter seventy, shall be submitted to the legal
voters of the said town of Bishopville who
have resided within its corporate limits six
months preceding the election, of the age of
twenty-one years and upwards, on Wednesday,
the twenty-first day of April, in the year eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-six; and the polls

shall be open on said last-mentioned day from
the hour of two o'clock in the afternoon to the
hour of six o'clock in said afternoon for the
reception of ballots; and all the ballots cast at

Election.
