CHAPTER 377.

AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and
forty-eight of the acts passed January ses-
sion eighteen hundred and eighty-four, en-
titled an act to repeal chapter seventy-one
of the acts passed January session, eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, entitled an act to
encourage the killing of hawks, big owls and
crows in Charles county, and re-enact with
amendments and to substitute the following
in lieu thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That chapter four hun-
dred and forty-eight of the acts passed Janu-
ary session, eighteen hundred and eighty-four

in Charles county, and re-enact with amend-
ments, is hereby repealed and the following is
enacted in lieu thereof.

Bounty.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person
killing any hawks, big owls or crows within,
the limits of Charles county, shall be entitled
to a bounty of twenty-five cents for every
hawk and big owl and five cents for every
crow so killed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That to obtain such
bounty, it shall be necessary for the person
killing any hawk, big owl or crow, to produce
the head of such hawk or big owl or crow be-
fore some Justice of the Peace of Charles
