the taking of said oath; and it shall be the
duty of the said Justice of the Peace to de-
stroy such head so as to prevent a second al-
lowance for the same.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted. That upon the pro-
duction of such certificate, the County Commis-
sioners of Charles county are hereby author-
ized and directed to levy upon the assessable

property of said county a sum sufficient for
the aforesaid bounty for the use of the person
or persons producing the same, and the Col-
lectors of taxes shall collect and pay the same
accordingly.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That no Justice of
the Peace shall be entitled to any fee or re-
ward for the issuing of such certificate.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the aforego-
ing sections shall not be so construed as to
include any fish hawk.

CHAPTER 378.
AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of Elec-
tion District Number Three or Vienna, in
Dorchester county, to determine by ballot
whether the existing fence law in said
election district, shall be repealed or remain
in full force.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the question of
whether or not the fence law now in force in
Election District Number Three, or Vienna, in
Dorchester county, shall be repealed, shall be
