CHAPTER 370.
AN ACT to appropriate the sum of two thous-
and dollars for each of the years eighteen
hundred and eighty-six and eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-seven to the Baltimore-
Manual Labor School.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the sum of two
thousand dollars for each of the years eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-six and eighteen hun-

ized and directed to draw his warrant upon
the Treasurer of the State in favor of the Bal-

the above appropriation in each of said years.

CHAPTER 371.
AN ACT to protect the health and morals of"
minors in the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That from and after the
passage of this act it shall not be lawful for
any dealer, vendor or other person or persons,
or body corporate engaged in the manufacture
of cigars, cigarettes or tobacco, or in any occu-

goods, wares and merchandise shall constitute
the whole or any part of his, her, their or its
business or occupation, to sell, barter or give
any cigar or cigars, cigarette or cigarettes,
smoking or chewing tobacco to any minor
