SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or
persons, or body corporate, whether manufac-
turer, dealer or vendor, violating the provisions

of this act shall, upon conviction thereof in
any Court of competent jurisdiction, be fined
in a sum of no.t less than ten nor more than
one hundred dollars for each and every offence
so convicted thereof, or be imprisoned in Jail
for not less than five nor more than thirty days
in default of payment of said fine.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That of all fines
accruing under the provisions of this act in the
several counties of this State, the moiety or
one-half part shall be applied to the support

and maintenance of the pauper insane of the
respective counties, and in the city of Balti-
more, said moiety or one-half part of said fines
so imposed, as herein provided, shall be dis-
tributed in equal proportions among the dif-
ferent dispensaries in said city.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from and after the date of
its passage.
