CHAPTER 360.

AN ACT to pay J. Harris Forbes the sum of
one hundred and fifty dollars for clerical ser-
vices rendered in the office of the State Treas-
urer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be

lars in the favor of J. Harris Forbes, for cleri-
cal services rendered in the Treasurer's office
in connection with the redemption of the Mary-

land Hospital Loan.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 361.

AN ACT to repeal section eighty-four of art-
icle seventeen of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," sub-title
Jailor and Jail," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That section eighty-four
of article seventeen of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," sub-
title "Jailor and Jail," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows :

SEC. 84. He shall be entitled to receive for
boarding and keeping any prisoner in said
jail, such sum per day as the County Commis-
