fendant or defendants, and one or more sure-
ties, who shall make oath before some Justice
of the Peace that he or they are worth each
double the amount of debt, interest and costs,
over and above all debts and exemptions,
which supersedeas, when produced before the
Justice who rendered the judgment, and ac-
cepted by him as sufficient to answer the
debt, interests and costs, shall be entered
upon his docket as a judgment confessed by
the superseder or superseders therein.

CHAPTER 359.
AN ACT to appropriate the sum of fifteen hun-
dred dollars for each of the years eighteen
hundred and eighty-six and eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-seven, to the General Ger-
man Aged People's Home of Baltimore city.
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the sum of fifteen
hundred dollars for each of the years eighteen
hundred and eighty-six and eighteen hundred

and eighty-seven, is hereby appropriated to
the General German Aged People's Home of
Baltimore city, and the Comptroller of the
Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to
draw his warrant upon the Treasurer of the
State in favor of the General German Aged
People's Home of Baltimore city, for the
amount of the above appropriation in each
of said years, on the first day of July.
