SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall
take effect on the first day of November eigh-

CHAPTER 362.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to
the German Orphant Asylum of Baltimore.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the sum of fifteen

hundred dollars be and the same is hereby
appropriated for the use and benefit of the
German Orphant Asylum of Baltimore city, and
that said appropriation shall continue for two
consecutive years.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said sum of
fifteen hundred dollars per annum be and the
same is hereby made payable by the Treas-
urer of the State, on the warrant of the Comp-
