SEC. A. The Board of Managers of the Mary-
land Hospital shall appoint two or more stu-
dents, who shall be residents in the Maryland
Hospital, for the purpose of studying the sub-
ject of insanity, said students shall be provided,
with quarters as other officers or employees ;
that said students shall be graduates of some
legally authorized Medical College, and shall
be appointed for one year and shall pay the
sum of two hundred dollars per annum each
for their board and washing; said students so

duties as the Board of Managers and Superin-
tendent may require of them, or they may be
summarily dismissed by the Board of Mana-
gers for neglect of duty or other cause, which
in their judgment may be sufficient to justify
such dismissal.

CHAPTER 340.
AN ACT to repeal sections sixty-one, sixty-two,
sixty-three, sixty-four, sixty-five, sixty-six,
sixty-seven, sixty-eight, sixty-nine, seventy,
seventy-one, seventy-two and seventy-three
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Cecil County," sub-title " County Commis-
sioners," as enacted by the act of eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, chapter one hun-
dred and seventy-three, and enact the fol-
lowing sections in lieu thereof :
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That sections sixty-one,
