CHAPTER 38.
AN ACT to constitute St. Mark's Church at
Kingston, in Somerset county, Maryland, the
Parish Church of Coventry Parish, in Som-
erset county, Maryland.
WHEREAS the Protestant Episcopal Church
building at Rehoboth in Somerset county,
Maryland, which is now the Parish Church of

Coventry Parish, has fallen into decay and is
no longer regularly occupied for divine wor-
ship; and whereas great inconvenience is ex- -
perienced in securing proper attendance at said
church for the selection of vestries and other
parish purposes by reason of its remoteness
from the church population of the parish ;
therefore,

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That from and after the pas-
sage of this act St. Mark's Church at Kingston,
in Somerset county, be and it is hereby consti-
tuted the Parish Church of Coventry Parish
aforesaid, instead of the original parish church
at Rehoboth.
