SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 10, 1886.


CHAPTER 37.

AN ACT to amend article twenty-six of the
Code of Public General Laws of this State,
relating to "Corporations," as re-enacted by
the act of January session, eighteen hundred
and sixty-eight, chapter four hundred and
seventy-one, by adding thereto an additional
section in order to provide for due succession
in corporations which are mentioned in Class
"one" of the fourteenth section of said act
last referred to, and have been or may be
formed under General or Special Laws of this
State for educational, literary, sanitary, char-
itable, benevolent or other purposes in said
Class "one" mentioned.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That article twenty-six
of the Code of Public General Laws of this.

Amended.

State, relating to corporations, as the same was.
re-enacted by the act of January session,
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter four-
hundred and seventy-one be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto the follow-
ing additional section :

SEC. — . The President and Directors, or Trus-
tees or Managers, for the time being, of any
corporation of any of the descriptions men-
tioned in Class "one" of the fourteenth section
