CHAPTER 39.


AN ACT to repeal chapter one of the acts
passed by the General Assembly at the
January session of eighteen hundred and
eighty-two, entitled an act to repeal sec-
tions two, four, five and six of the Code of
of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester
county," sub-title "County Commissioners,''
as enacted by the act of Assembly of eigh-
teen hundred and seventy-eight, chapter one
hundred and sixty, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, providing for a change
in the districts of the county for the pur-
poses of that law, and also a new mode of
appointing the Treasurer of the county, and
to re-enact the same with amendments, au-
thorizing the Commissioners to make tem-
porary loans and to remove and appoint
Treasurer and Clerk.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That chapter one of acts
passed at the January session, eighteen hun-

the same are hereby repealed and re- enacted
so as to read as follows :

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Dorchester-
county be and is hereby divided in five Com-
missioners' districts, as follows: Commis-
sioner district number one shall be composed.
