CHAPTER 275.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
James Bates for work done and material fur-
nished upon State Tobacco Warehouse Num-
ber One.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of

the Treasury be and he is hereby requested
and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer to pay to James Bates the sum of
sixty-eight dollars and fifty-three cents, for
work done and materials furnished upon State
Tobacco Warehouse Number One.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to extend the time allowed by law
to Stephen P. Toadvine, late Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Wicomico county, to com-
plete the unfinished business in said office
at the expiration of his official term.
