LAWS OF MARYLAND.
CHAPTER 259.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Wicomico county to levy
a sum of money on the assessable property
of said county, for the building of a bridge
over Toney Tank creek, dividing Trappe Dis-
trict from Salisbury District, in said county,
from Nelly's Point, in Trappe District, to
the opposite point in Salisbury District, on
the land of John H. Ruark.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico county be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered, at their

discretion, to levy on the assessable property
of said county, the sum of one thousand dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
for the purpose of building a bridge over Toney
Tank creek, in said county, from Nelly's Point,
in Trappe District, to a point opposite, on the
land of John H. Ruark.

Draw.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Com-
missioners shall place a draw within the said
bridge, at the channel of the said creek, suffi-
cient for the passage of vessels twenty feet
or more in width.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
