CHAPTER 253.
AN ACT to pay James Legg, of Annapolis, the
sum of fifty dollars, for services rendered
the State as Hall-Keeper, during the session
of eighteen hundred and eighty-two.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be

Annapolis, in payment for services rendered
by him to the State during the session of the
General Assembly of eighteen hundred and

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 254.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to-
pay Daniel C. Hammett for services ren-
dered the State.
SECTION I . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of
the Treasury be and he is hereby authorized
and instructed to issue his warrant to the

ney's foe.

Treasurer in favor of Daniel C. Hammett,
State's Attorney for St. Mary's county, for the
sum of sixteen dollars and twenty cents, in
payment of his claim as State's Attorney for
St. Mary's county, in the case of State of Mary-
land against Thomas W. Aud and others, in
the Circuit Court for St. Mary's county.
