Fines.

dollars, and upon failure to pay the same,
shall be committed to Jail for not less than ten
nor more than twenty days; one-half of said
fine to go to the informer and the other half
to the School fund of the county, subject to the
right of appeal and right of demand for Jury
trial as now allowed by law.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 218.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County
Commissioners of Caroline county to ap-
point an additional Constable for the Fourth
Election District of said county, to reside in
Harmony Precinct.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-

Constable.

sembly of Maryland, That the County Com-
missioners of Caroline county be and they
are hereby authorized and directed to appoint
an additional Constable for the Fourth Elec-
tion District of Caroline county, to reside in
Harmony Precinct.

|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
