CHAPTER 210.
AN ACT to legalize and make valid and effec-
tual the acts of Edwin R. Browning, late a
Justice of the Peace of the State of Mary-
land, in Election District Number One, of
Garrett county, done and performed as of
his said office as Justice of the Peace after
his term of office had expired.
WHEREAS Edwin R. Browning, Esquire, was

duly appointed and commissioned by the Gov-
ernor of the State of Maryland, a Justice of
the Peace for the said State of Maryland, in
the First Election District thereof; and
WHEREAS the said Edwin R. Browning did,
after his term of appointment as such Justice
of the Peace had expired, do and perform cer-

tain acts as of his office, under the impression
and belief, and all those interested in said acts
being under the impression and belief that
the term of said Edwin R. Browning, as said Jus-
tice of the Peace, had not then expired; there-
fore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That all the acts of Ed-
win R. Browning, done and performed in the
capacity of or as a Justice of the Peace of the

State of Maryland, in and for Garrett county,
after the expiration of his said term of office, be
and the same are hereby made as valid and
effectual, and shall have the same force and
effect in law as if the same had been done and
performed within and during the term for
which he, the said Edwin R. Browning, had
been so as aforesaid appointed and commis-
sioned.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
