SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Commis-
sioners of Salisbury town are hereby author-
ized and empowered to levy and appropriate

money for the support, maintenance and care
of the "Salisbury Public Cemetery," and to
pass ordinances for the care, regulation and
protection of the same.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 203.
AN ACT to incorporate the town of Chesa-
peake Beach, in Calvert county.
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the inhabitants of
the town of Chesapeake Beach, Calvert county,

shall be and they are hereby made a body cor-
porate, by the name and style of the "Com-
missioners of Chesapeake Beach," and by that
name shall have perpetual succession, may sue
and be sued, may purchase, hold, sell and dis-
pose of real, personal and mixed property, for
the use and benefit of said town, and may have
and use a common seal, which may be broken
or altered at pleasure.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the limits
of said town shall be as follows: Beginning
with the original corner on Chesapeake bay,

between the lands of Chew and Hutchins ;
thence in a northerly direction with said bay
to an original corner of F. Lewis Griffith and
W. W. Nichols; thence with said Griffith's
line to a tree on island in marsh, being corner
of said Griffith, Nichols and the estate of J.
Y. Barber; thence west with the line of said
Barber and Griffith thirty poles, to a corner in
line with the land of the heirs of Henry
