shall stop at each end of the bridge of said
company crossing the Susquehanna river, all
passenger trains going north or south over its
road, except four express trains each way pas-
sing said points, and upon the trains so required
to be stopped, all persons desiring to cross
said river shall be carried over said bridge
free of charge.

SEC. — . And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 199.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
the claim of Jacob H. Medairy & Co., for
stationery furnished for the use of the Ex-
ecutive Department and the Court of Appeals
for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-
four and eighteen hundred and eighty-five,
and for the use of the General Assembly of
eighteen hundred and eighty-six.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of
the Treasury be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant upon the
State Treasurer to pay to Jacob H. Medairy &

Co., for stationery furnished for the use of the
Executive Department and the Court of Ap-
peals for the years eighteen hundred and
eighty-four and eighteen hundred and eighty-
five, and the General Assembly for the present
session, the sum of four thousand four hun-
dred and eighty-five dollars and fifty-two
cents.
