or in any other State of the United States, in
behalf of and for the benefit of the Baltimore
Annual Conference of the Methodist Epis-
copal Church, and the same to manage, grant,
convey, lease or otherwise dispose of, and to
execute such trust or trusts as may be confided
to such corporation, the whole to be under the
supervision of and amenable to the said Bal-
timore Annual Conference of the Methodist
Episcopal Church.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said cor-
poration shall also be deemed competent to

receive and administer any special benevolent
trust on behalf of the Methodist Episcopal
Church, or any religious, charitable or benevo-
lent object connected with said church that
may be confided or entrusted to it.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the
said corporation shall have a President, a Vice-
President, a Secretary and a Treasurer — such
officers to be chosen by said corporation from

their own members as often as they may see
proper, and according to rules or by-laws to
be by them prescribed — and the said corpora-
tion shall have authority to appoint such other
officers and servants as shall by them, the said
corporation, be deemed necessary.

Quorum.
|
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That five members
of said corporation, whereof the President, or,
in his absence, the Vice-President, shall be
one, shall be a sufficient number to transact
the business thereof, and to make by-laws, rules
and regulations.

Receipts and
disbursements.
|
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the said cor-
poration shall cause fair and regular entries of
their proceedings and a just account of their
receipts and disbursements to be kept in a
book or books provided for that purpose, and
their Treasurer shall exhibit to the Baltimore
Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal
Church at every annual meeting of said Con-
ference, a full and accurate report of the state
of the accounts of said corporation.
