HENRY LLOYD, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR
to contract for, and superintend the furnish-
ing the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Baltimore county, and the fire-proof addi-
tion to the Court-House in said county with
suitable cases for the purpose of more safely
preserving the records and papers required to
be kept by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for

said county, as well in the said fire-proof
addition as also in the office of said Clerk, and
also to contract for and provide any necessary
articles of furniture for said fire-proof addi-
tion and for said Clerk's office; and for the pur-
pose of paying for the said cases and furniture
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county
are hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to levy on the assessable property in said
county at the annual levy in May, eighteen
hundred and eighty- six, such sum of money
as may be necessary, not exceeding the sum of
two thousand dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 26.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Loudon
Park Cemetery Company, so as to enable it
to acquire land in Baltimore county in ad-
dition to the quantity it now holds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Loudon Park

authorized and empowered, in addition to the
land it now owns, to purchase or lease any
land in Baltimore county (in quantity not to
exceed thirty-five acres) lying adjacent to the
present western limits of the cemetery lands
