have, in respect to the said land when ac-
quired by it, all such powers of disposition and
control, as under its charter and the laws of
Maryland, it may exercise over land acquired
by it for cemetery purposes.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 27.

AN ACT to authorize the setting of curbstones
and the paving of the foot-ways on the
northerly or northwesterly side of the Bal-
timore and Fredericktown Turnpike Road
or avenue in Baltimore county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the person or per-
sons or body corporate owning ground binding

Curbstones.

on the northerly or northwesterly side of the
said Baltimore and Fredericktown Turnpike
Road or avenue, b.etween the Garrison Forest
Road and Baltimore city limits, be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered to have
and set curbstones and to pave foot-ways so
that they may not exceed twelve feet in width
from the northerly or northwesterly line of
said turnpike line.

Repeal.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or
parts of acts inconsistent with this act be and
the same are hereby repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from, the date of its passage.
