LAWS OF MARYLAND.
CHAPTER 24.


AN ACT to empower and direct the erection
of lamps along Light-Street Bridge, by the
authorities of Baltimore city and Anne
Arundel county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore and the County

Lamps on
Light-street
Bridge.

Commissioners of Anne Arundel county, ,be
and they are hereby empowered and directed
to cause to be erected and maintained at their
joint expense, lamps along and on Light-street
bridge, not more than seventy-five yards apart ;
provided, that there shall be at least one lamp
at each end of the draw of said bridge, and
the said lamps shall be attended to, cleaned,
lighted at night and extinguished in the morn-
ing by the keeper of said bridge.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 10, 1886.

CHAPTER 25.

AN ACT to provide the necessary furniture
for the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore county, and for the
fire-proof addition to the Court-House in
said county, and to authorize the County
Commissioners of said county to levy on the
assessable property in said county a sum
sufficient for payment of the cost thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That John E. Crout,
John W. Shanklin and William M. Isaac be
and they are hereby appointed Commissioners
