LAWS OF MARYLAND.
CHAPTER 156.

AN ACT to provide for the printing and dis-
tributing the Report of the Bureau to col-
lect "Statistics and Information," concerning
the various branches of Industry practised
in this State, and the needs thereof, and the
abuses which exist therein.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Chief of the
Bureau of Statistics and Information of the

printed and bound in book form, and to be
presented to the General Assembly.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said book
shall be octavo size; that the binding shall
be black cloth, with the words "Report of In-
dustrial Statistics ;" the date of the year of
issue, and the Coat of Arms of Maryland

stamped in gold on the back; that the edges
of the book be plain white; that the paper on
which the report is printed shall be white
"book paper," of sixty pounds weight, and the
sizes of the type used for the body of the
work shall be "Long Primer;" for the tabular
work, "Brevier," and for the notes, "Nonpareil,"
so that the volumes of successive years shall
be of uniform character and appearance.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Chief of
said Bureau is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to contract for the printing and binding
of said report, for a sum not to exceed two
