the Commissioner of the Land Office that the
Isle of Wight Inlet and Oyster Planting Com-
pany have constructed the inlet as described
and provided for in chapter fifty-six, and as
amended by chapter three hundred and fifty-
five, Laws of Maryland, session of eighteen
hundred and eighty-four, and amended by
section one of this act, connecting Assawoman

Additional
patent.

bay, Isle of Wight bay or Synepuxent bay, or
by whatever names the same may be known
or called, with the Atlantic ocean, so as to
secure an ebb and flow of salt water through
said inlet, it shall be his duty and he is hereby
directed to issue a patent in addition to the
grant of that portion of Assawoman and Isle
of Wight bays, as described in section eight of
the amended act, chapter three hundred and
fifty-five, passed by the General Assembly at
the session of eighteen hundred and eighty-
four, to the said Isle of Wight Inlet and Oyster
Planting Company for one-half of that part of
Synepuxent bay beginning at the southern
boundary of the original grant in the Isle of
Wight bay, as amended by chapter three hun-
dred and fifty-five. Laws of Maryland, session of
eighteen hundred and eighty-four, which shall
constitute the northern boundary of the tract
herein described, and extending in a southerly
direction, the eastern line parallel to the trend
of the beach and extending the western line
parallel to the trend of the main land of said
described grant, also in a southerly direction,
until said eastern and western lines extended
intersect a line drawn eastwardly from South

Bounds and
limits.

Point, on Synepuxent bay, to the beach separat-
ing the said bay from the Atlantic ocean, so as
to convey unto the said Isle of Wight Inlet and
Oyster Planting Company one-half of the bed
of said Synepuxent bay to the aforesaid de-
scribed line from South Point eastwardly,
which shall be the southern boundary of the
additional portion as described within said
lines, which shall constitute the one-half of
said bay hereby intended to be conveyed to
said company, the acquisition of which is
